W-S Bluethroat seen several times Slimbridge Sightings from arrival 0830, with full showboating mode in open at 0950. 100+ RPlover + at least 20 Dunlin Tack Piece from Robbie G hide, eclipsed by min 6 Sanderling, 2 still sporting winter garb #GlosBirds

WWT Shepard’s Hut: Good Bluethroat activity - singing on the large stick in reed bed to left of pathway, with tim mcgrath. Plenty of Reed & Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting. Lesser Whitethroat. 41 small waders on Estuary - majority Ringed Plover, ~5 Dunlin.

WWT Dumbles from Estuary Tower: Peregrine, 2+ Brent Goose, 39 Shelduck, 3 Oystercatcher, 2 Avocet, Lapwing, Shoveler, Teal, Gadwall, Little Egret, plus usual corvids, gulls, geese, woodpigs.

After 3 dips, I finally caught up with a Wood Warbler this morning in FoD. Good to chat with Frank & Polly #glosbirds
At the larger Prestbury Hill Butterfly Reserve: a Tree Pipit, a Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Ravens. Dukes of Burgundy, many Small Blues, Dingy Skipper, Small Heath, Brimstone, Green-veined White butterflies plus Latticed Heath and Common Carpet moths

A good day in the FoD at Nagshead today, 3 #Treecreeper , 2 #Nuthatch2 #Song_Thrush , with great views of 1 #Pied_Flycatcher (m) and 1 #Common_Redstart (m) RSPB #GlosBirds
Survey work on a local patch revealed an amazing population of Tree Pipits, upwards of 9-10 birds - truly up there with the big boy sites like Cleeve & Leckhampton Hills, if not better. 3 silent birds in long grass in addition to singing bird on territory. Wowzers #GlosBirds
Good to see breeding populations of a number of grassland, woodland and scrub indicator species but now need to work out why certain 'expected' birds are absent. Rewarding work #GlosBirds

The White-spotted Bluethroat at WWT Slimbridge at 09.15-am. Seen well for a short time. It showed briefly again around 10-00-am Never close, sat on the far edge of the reed beds. A Grasshopper Warbler was heard a few times. Seen for 2secs when heard at 11.30-am #glosbirds
Good morning WWT Slimbridge - saw the Bluethroat within a few minutes but had to wait another hour for it to re-appear. 15+ Dunlin,1 Redshank and 2 Grey Plover on the Tack Piece. Oakie & Sherbet out and about with their 2 young and a Hobby over S Lake Slimbridge Sightings #GlosBirds
#GlosBirds Slimbridge Sightings I was very pleased to hear and then actually see my first ever Grasshopper Warbler at Mid-Piont today. It looked like 2 of them having a reel-off!, even the Bluethroat made a breif appearance. Also Reed Buntings, Sedge/Reed Warblers singing away.

Estuary Tower- 7 Dark-bellied Brent Geese on the foreshore with Canada Geese, c50 immature large gulls- Herring, LBB and GBB Gulls, Ringed Plover on the 'saltpan', 2 male Lapwing, few Avocet on the scrape and a Curlew on the Dumbles + Cuckoo singing in the Decoy Wood #GlosBirds
