A few days around Thetford last week produced the usual area specials within the unique habitats and lucky enough to have a fairly close Stone Curlew at Weeting Heath. Dawn Balmer

We are really pleased to have this published in this month’s British Birds magazine. Many hours surveying over the years. A number of theories discussed but no firm conclusion of why. ⁦Barnsley Birders⁩ ⁦Donnybirding⁩ ⁦Jim Horsfall⁩ ⁦RSPB_OldMoor

Sparrowhawk in the garden yesterday and one Blackbird less! Sparrowhawks are not seen as often now and probably a drop in population in the Barnsley area. Raptor Group think 50% less. Barnsley Birders Hudds BWC Donnybirding
