Kathy Cybele Jess USAJane 2017 ๐ฝ Instead, it'll come out 6 months late.
People are mostly right about the fact that this chase-the-variant strategy isn't working, but the nuance I want to add is that we *could* make it work - partially - if we doubled the update frequency. It would reduce spread for sure.
Kathy Cybele Jess USAJane 2017 ๐ฝ It's this arbitrary schedule that's the problem. A JN.1 booster could and should have been rolled out for this spring. An update every 6 months is the bare minimum we should be doing on the vaccine front, and there's no practical reason not to do it.
