For UK ...
Spring ends on about 1 June, when last Grey Plovers head for Siberia.
Autumn starts on about 15 June, when first Black-tailed Godwits return from Iceland.
Guess that means that summer lasts a fortnight?!

An interesting thread, especially the replies, 99% about the issue of dogs. The entire Norfolk coastline has been invaded by people and their dogs over 30 years. Many unaware of the serious impact they’re are causing. It’s a disgrace that nothing has been done.

EMPTY LEDGES. First visit to North Sutor colony revealed the extreme impact bird flu, storms and rising sea temps have had on seabirds. Cormorants down by 36% to only 86 nests, shags by 60% to 60 nests and Guillemots down by a massive 83% on last year.
