First Minister John Swinney has confirmed the opening of a £1.5m fund to support councils in removing the impact of school meal debt.

This will help ensure no child is penalised for not paying for school meals as a result of the cost of living crisis.

🚋 The trial of scrapping peak-time ScotRail fares has been extended by 3 months.

🎟️ The scheme saw the cost of a rush hour ticket between Glasgow and Edinburgh being nearly halved, from £28.90 down to £14.90 (a monthly Monday to Friday saving of £280).
