Winter=classic books. Moses was a complex guy with big footprint. Didn't need to be top of org chart to exert power. Amazing what's improved in how public sector works since last century (and won't take for granted public works anymore).

Plane reading: Lessons of History by Durant and Durant. Cuts through current events catastrophizing; things have gotten way better for humans over time. Still tackling similar themes in society now as in the past: despite our tech we are all still caveman around the campfire
